I. Superior Control of Geometric Accuracy and Rotational Stability

The most significant advantage of CNC-machined automotive bearings lies in their exceptional geometric accuracy and rotational stability. Utilizing high-precision CNC lathes and grinding centers, the diameter tolerances of the bearing's inner and outer rings can be stably controlled at P5 level (±0.004-0.008mm) or higher, with roundness error ≤0.002mm, raceway profile error ≤0.003mm, and surface roughness reaching Ra0.1-0.2μm. In automotive wheel hub bearing applications, this level of precision ensures smooth wheel rotation, radial runout controlled within 0.01mm, and significantly reduced vibration values ​​during high-speed driving.

Precise control of the raceway and flange is particularly crucial. Through CNC profile grinding, the raceway radius accuracy is ±0.002mm, the flange angle accuracy is ±1°, and the transition between the raceway and flange is smooth with no stress concentration.

II. Integrated Machining of Complex Structures and Functional Features

CNC machining technology has transformed automotive bearings from simple rotating bodies into multifunctional integrated components. For example, in flanged wheel hub bearings, the flange and bearing outer ring are machined in a single clamping process, with the perpendicularity of the flange end face to the axis ≤0.008mm and the mounting hole position accuracy ±0.02mm.

Precision machining of sealing grooves. Seal mounting grooves are machined on the inner and outer rings of the bearing, with a groove width accuracy of ±0.01mm and a groove bottom roughness Ra0.8μm, ensuring reliable seal installation. Maintenance-free wheel hub bearings utilize a labyrinth seal structure, preventing rust even after long-term use in muddy and wet environments.

III. Full Utilization of Material Properties

Bearing steels such as GCr15 and carburized steel 20CrMo exhibit excellent performance in automotive bearing manufacturing. Through precision machining and heat treatment, surface hardness reaches HRC60-64, core toughness is good, and contact fatigue life is high.

Precise control of surface integrity. A super-smooth surface with Ra 0.05-0.1μm and a residual compressive stress layer depth of 0.02-0.05mm is achieved through ultra-precision machining. For engine bearings, the ultra-precision surface ensures complete oil film formation and improves anti-galling performance.

IV. Synergistic Optimization of Heat Treatment and Grinding

After rough machining, controlled atmosphere heat treatment is performed, with deformation controlled within 0.05mm, leaving a grinding allowance of 0.2-0.3mm. For precision bearings, the dimensions are stable and the metallographic structure is uniform after heat treatment.

Precision grinding and ultra-precision machining. High-speed grinding with CBN grinding wheels achieves a roundness of 0.0015mm, followed by ultra-precision machining to a surface roughness of Ra 0.05μm. For high-speed bearings, ultra-precision machining reduces raceway roughness and minimizes bearing temperature rise.

V. Precision Design of Lubrication and Sealing Structures

Precision machining of lubricating oil grooves. Lubricating oil grooves are machined on the inner or outer ring of the bearing, with a groove width accuracy of ±0.02mm and a groove depth accuracy of ±0.02mm. Heavy-duty machinery bearings feature precision oil grooves for even grease distribution.

Precision cage molding. Utilizing CNC machining or precision injection molding, the cage pocket accuracy is ±0.01mm, and the clearance with rolling elements is 0.1-0.2mm. For high-speed bearings, the precision cage ensures smooth rolling element movement and low noise.

VI. Manufacturing Efficiency and Flexible Production

High-speed grinding technology improves processing efficiency. Bearing steel grinding speeds can reach 80-120m/s; combined with CBN grinding wheels, grinding efficiency is increased by 2 times.

Flexible manufacturing adapts to diverse needs. Switching from one bearing specification to another can be completed within 30 minutes. Multi-variety, small-batch bearing production maintains controllable overall costs.

Deep application of automated production lines. Equipped with robotic automatic loading and unloading and online inspection systems, enabling 24-hour continuous production.
